It is Monday again and time for some updates.

News broke out this past week about Amie Street and Songza. I don’t much like taking someones word for it, so I asked the source. It is true. So the post that I saw about Amie Street buying Songza is in fact true. This was posted over at TechCrunch.

I don’t think that Amie Street is happy about this being leaked out. I’m sure that they have some amazing things coming down the pipeline. Not that the news didn’t shock a bunch of people, and it was ReTweeted several different times.

I guess a flag should have popped up when I was invited by someone from Amie Street to join the site. It just didn’t click in my head. Oh well. I don’t even remember when that was. It doesn’t matter much know that everyone knows about it.

So what could we see from such a deal? How about a Pandora type radio stations but with Independent Artist. All powered by artist that are listed on Amie Street. No more listening to the crap on the radio, time to listen to kick ass bands that love playing music.

In other news: We are still having our contest for $25 to be given away to someone that is tracking back to the Uber Tracker. I know that $25 doesn’t seem like much, but on Amie Street it could be a lot.
