Version 3.0 of ASMW WordPress Plugin
In version 3.0 there are some major changes. The new songids that came along with the new Amie Street redesign would not work with our old players. Lucas has us up and running once again. Thank you!
What the current player looks like:
The new player will expand to 100% of the page or div that it is contained in. So you will want to include it at the top or bottom of your post, it is your choice.
It is really easier than ever to get the player into your post. Before you had to find the songid and put it in brackets([]). Now you just need to copy the link location of the song and put it in brackets.
[http://amiestreet.com/stream/song/UdDloxfVVqIx.mp3]
To do this you will just simply right click on the play button beside the song. Shown in the image below:
Paste that copied link inbetween brackets and you are good to go. Much easier than before.

Hey there – Neat idea! I’ve certainly been beating the bushes trying to find a way to make it easier to promote music on Amie Street. The site itself doesn’t seem concerned with putting anything into new artists, apart from highlighting already successful new acts with images and links, so any new way that comes around I’m curious about.
