ASMW FA – Karen Woodham

A big thank you to Mark for giving me the opportunity to have a bit of info about myself posted here on ASMW.

So let’s start, my name is Karen Woodham, I’m part of the electronica duo Remergence with my best buddy JJ (Jake Jones), I was born in England and then at the tender age of ten moved to North Wales, where I still live now.

I first started producing music way back in 1997 and have been going strong since then with several albums released of which a few can be found on AmieStreet,also on most of the top sites such as iTunes, eMusic etc. you get the gist..

I’m an avid Twitter (@RemBeatZ) and blogger on the Official Remergence Blog, Blazing Minds and the Atom Sounds Music blog, so as you can see I do have other past times when not stuck in front of a computer, I do honestly, when I’m not bending JJ’s ear on a new track we are producing together, I’m usually out and about at either work or out walking the dogs and having a wild social life, well someone has to *giggle*

So back onto the music, seven albums, one soundtrack and a bucket load of tracks that are on the cutting room floor as it were! First release was mainly though our own site, before moving onto CDBaby for some release and then to TuneCore where I discovered Amie Street, a vast amount of tracks to download and we have been slowly adding albums and EP/Singles to the Amie Street catalogue.

We are currently working on two projects another soundtrack and a new album,which we hope to get out sometime next year.
